You lost in quiet haze

You gave your all, your heart, your hand,
still they refused to understand.
you called it love, they called it phase,
and left you lost in quiet haze.

You tried to hold what slipped away,
hoping they'd turn, but they won’t stay.
so now you leave, not out of spite,
but knowing wrong will never right.

To care alone becomes a chain,
to stay too long invites the pain.
release is strength, though it may burn,
some doors must close for you to learn.

Some times you have to give up on PEOPLE

There’s a point where reaching out starts to feel like begging. you hold the rope so long your palms forget what freedom feels like. you tell yourself love can fix it, that loyalty should count for something. but care without return is just slow heartbreak in disguise. sometimes walking away isn’t cold—it’s clarity. it’s remembering your worth in the echo of their absence. I write for those who choose peace over proof.
